After graduating from Georgia Tech's Environmental Engineering program in 2016, Shannon was selected for the Create-X program, where she co-founded TruPani, which was based on insights gleaned while working as a research assistant in the Brown Water Group. Today, Shannon is the CEO of TruPani, a water quality and cleantech startup, which developed two products and completed consulting projects worldwide. Her work won first place at the Rice University Water Technologies Design Competition and "People's Choice Winner" at Georgia Tech's InVenture Prize.
